2018-19 QCA Levy
On 18 October 2018, the QCA approved Aurizon Network’s proposal to revise the QCA levy in the 2016 access undertaking to $0.00 cents (Nil) to reflect changes in the QCA fee for 2018–19.
This change will take effect on 1 November 2018.

2016-17 QCA Levy
Aurizon Network’s Goonyella System suffered flood damage in February 2016. On 31 October 2016, Aurizon Network sought the QCA’s approval to claim about $2 million of incremental maintenance costs resulting from the flood event.
Aurizon Network proposed that the tariff variation from this flood event be applied to the 2017-18 Goonyella reference tariffs. The submission was made under the 2016 AU.
On 10 November 2016, the QCA approved Aurizon Network’s proposal to revise the QCA levy in the 2016 access undertaking to 2.89 cents (from 3.22 cents) to reflect changes in the QCA fee for 2016-17. The revised QCA levy took effect from 1 December 2016.
