On 24 May 2017, the QCA made a decision to approve Aurizon Network’s April 2017 Extension DAAU. Aurizon Network submitted a draft amending access undertaking (DAAU) to extend the terminating date of its 2016 access undertaking from 30 June 2017 to the earlier of 31 December 2017, or the date on which a QCA approved replacement undertaking takes effect.

This decision along with all stakeholder comments and Aurizon Network’s DAAU are available below.

On 28 April 2017, Aurizon Network submitted revised clean and marked up copies of the DAAU that changed the definition of Terminating Date to 31 December 2017, consistent with its stated intention in the documents that accompanied its 5 April 2017 submission. The DAAU, including the proposed prices for the 2017-18 financial year, is otherwise the same as that submitted on 5 April 2017.

The amended DAAU documents, and a covering letter from Aurizon Network, are available below.

On 5 April 2017, Aurizon Network submitted a new extension DAAU to extend the terminating date of its 2016 access undertaking from 30 June 2017 to the earlier of 31 December 2017, or the date on which a QCA approved replacement undertaking takes effect.

The application letter setting out the key elements of the extension DAAU, and Aurizon Network’s reasons for submitting a new extension DAAU, as well as clean and marked-up copies of the DAAU are available below.
