As directed by the Queensland Government, we conducted an investigation into Seqwater’s bulk water pricing practices. The objective of the investigation was to recommend bulk water prices to apply from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2026.
We submitted our final report, including our recommendation on bulk water prices, to the Queensland Government on 31 March 2022. We expect the Government to determine Seqwater’s prices following consideration of our recommendations, with new prices expected to take effect from 1 July 2022.
