Seqwater provides water to approximately 1,455 irrigators operating within 7 water supply schemes and 9 tariff groups.
Irrigators in south east Queensland use water to support a wide variety of agriculture activities, including dairy farming, and vegetable and fodder crops.
Seqwater estimated costs related to irrigation of around $5 million in 2013–14, to be recovered through irrigation charges and government payments.
