Queensland Rail’s 2020 draft access undertaking (DAU) set out its proposed terms and conditions for negotiating access to its rail infrastructure after the termination of its 2016 access undertaking in June 2020. Queensland Rail lodged its 2020 DAU on 14 August 2018. We published our draft decision on 29 April 2019, and our decision and secondary undertaking notice on 28 February 2020.
On 24 April 2020, Queensland Rail submitted an amended DAU, which it subsequently updated to reflect recently released CPI information. On 1 July 2020, we approved the updated amended 2020 DAU, which is now Queensland Rail’s approved 2020 access undertaking.
